GoHighLevel systems: one contact, one clock, one pipeline
A GoHighLevel system is not a login and a hope. It is capture, convert, and retain sharing one contact ID: forms and calendars write the same person, speed-to-lead fires in minutes, follow-up lives in a workflow with a stop rule, and someone notices when a path dies. The Shaz Method is that system, installed in the GHL account you own. Setup is $250 once. Core ($397/mo) and Growth ($697/mo) operate it. Platform fees stay with GoHighLevel. We do not ship a custom CRM.
What people mean by a GoHighLevel system
A GoHighLevel system is the runtime where a hand-raise becomes a contact you own. Not a Messenger request. Not a screenshot of a comment. Not four tools pretending they share a person. One record: source, offer, next action, and a clock that starts when they raise their hand.
People search “GoHighLevel systems” because they already bought the software — or they are about to — and they still leak. The leak is usually not “we need more features.” It is that capture lives in a form tool, the calendar lives in another tab, SMS is a separate app, and follow-up lives in someone’s head. GHL can hold all of that. Most accounts do not. The Shaz Method is the install of how those pieces should behave, written from why we use GoHighLevel instead of a pile of tools or a custom CRM.
What “system” means in this house
System is a precise word here. It means three jobs on one contact ID.
Capture: funnels, landing pages, forms, booking calendars, missed-call text-back, chat widgets that actually write a record. The job is to catch the hand-raise. If it never becomes a GoHighLevel contact with source and a next step, you did not capture it. You collected a notification.
Convert: instant response in the first five minutes, pipeline stages named for how you actually close, workflows that move a card because a tag fired, follow-up sequences that keep talking after “I need to think,” and a stop rule when they book or buy.
Retain: review requests after a closed job, reactivation instead of paying for the same human again, and monthly reporting so you can tell a slow month from a dead automation. Operating the system is part of the product. Automations rot.
Why a pile of tools is not a system
The usual stack is a landing-page builder, a form tool, a calendar, an email ESP, an SMS app, a spreadsheet, and a Zap that “usually works.” Each hop is a chance to duplicate the human or fail silently at 11pm. A Meta lead form, a website form, a Calendly, and a WhatsApp chat are four databases pretending to be one business. Deduping becomes folklore. Attribution becomes a guess. The person who filled a form on Tuesday and booked on Thursday looks like two cold leads.
GoHighLevel is not magic. It is a place where those jobs can share a contact. That is the whole argument: one runtime, one record, one clock. Glue is not a strategy. If your “system” requires a coordinator to copy-paste between tabs, you have a ritual, not a system.
A custom CRM on top of that is a second job: schema, logins, exports, the person who “knows how it works.” We will not pretend inventing another database is the product. If you need that, this is the wrong offer. The diagnostic will say so.
What we actually install
Setup is $250 once: a snapshot of the catch, tuned to how you close. Pipeline stages with owners and SLAs. Forms and calendars on the same contact. Core speed-to-lead workflow. Tagging so source stays attached. Baseline email and SMS capture path. Handoff notes so monthly operate has a starting line.
You own the sub-account. If we stop, the contacts, workflows, funnels, and numbers stay. There is no “our box.” Platform subscription fees are billed by GoHighLevel, not bundled into the $250 / $397 / $697.
If you already have a mature GHL install, the diagnostic will say whether you need the full setup or a lighter pass. We do not rebuild for sport.
- Pipeline named for your close — site visit, stay dates, membership — not a generic “new lead” graveyard
- Forms, calendars, and payments writing the same contact ID
- Instant SMS + email on submit, plus an internal ping if a human still needs to jump in
- Nurture with exits: booked, replied, unsubscribed, closed
- UTM and tags that survive the hop from ad, listing page, or organic CTA
Where Core and Growth sit
Setup is the snapshot plus the first install. It is not a month of babysitting. Core ($397/mo) operates GoHighLevel, organic social, and email/SMS — workflows, posting cadence, nurture, the report. Growth ($697/mo) includes that, plus paid ads into the same pipeline and the extra pipes: conversion tracking, funnel CRO, retargeting, missed-call text-back, review requests, creative testing, lead scoring, a monthly strategy note.
Ad spend, GHL platform fees, and SMS credits stay on your accounts. We are not bundling a media budget into the retainer so the number looks “full service.”
A system you never look at is a system that will die. The expensive failure mode is a workflow that used to work: a form field renamed, an expired domain on a tracking pixel, an SMS path that broke after a provider change. Revenue dips, so you buy more traffic, which pours into the same hole. Operate is the function that notices that in days, not at tax time.
The clock is the product
Contact in the first five minutes is a different sport from contact in the first hour. Ads did their job. Silence undoes it. The Shaz Method treats those minutes as an engineering SLA inside GoHighLevel, not a motivational poster for the team. If the reply depends on someone noticing a notification while they are on a walkthrough, you do not have speed-to-lead. You have luck.
This was stress-tested on a homestay and resort booking platform, a travel marketplace across time zones, a founder community, and a farm with no sales team. The shared constraint: inbound exists, and nobody can sit the inbox all day. A guest who inquired at 9:41pm booked the next listing if nobody answered. Direct bookings, deposits, and a guest CRM were useless without the catch. Software without a follow-up pipe is a prettier leak.
After-hours, the first reply can be automated and still useful: we got this, here is a calendar or a two-line path, a human will confirm in the morning if needed. Silence is the competitor’s closer. That is why calendars, lead routing, and missed-call text-back sit inside the same system instead of as optional gadgets.
What a healthy GHL system looks like on a Tuesday
A lead submits a form at 9:41pm. A contact already exists with source, offer, and page. SMS and email go out from that contact — not from a shared inbox. If a human must speak, the right phone buzzes. If they book from the calendar in the text, the sequence stops. If they reply “stop,” it stops. If they call back tomorrow, the thread is on the contact so you are not asking them to repeat the voicemail.
Touch three, four, and five still fire on a busy week because they live in a workflow, not in a coordinator’s memory. Organic social CTAs land in the same pipe. A paid click on Growth shares the contact ID with the no-show on Thursday. The monthly report shows volume in, speed-to-lead, booked, stalled, and what changes next. Not a 40-page dashboard dump. A pulse.
If you cannot describe that Tuesday without waving at “the CRM,” you do not have a system yet. You have software. The CRM setup note is the field-level version of this. The automations note is the workflow version. This page is the whole runtime.
Who this is for, and who should walk
Operators who already generate interest — ads, referrals, a booking inquiry at 9:41pm — and still lose the next five minutes. You need a GoHighLevel account, or willingness to get one. It is a catch problem more often than a traffic problem.
Bad fit: you want a black-box login, you have no way for a human to take a booked conversation, you need us to invent another database, or the leak is actually positioning. That last one gets said on the diagnostic, not after a month of $697. We are not a generic hospitality agency with a white-label login. We are not a from-scratch CRM shop.
If you want to run it yourself after install, agency vs in-house is the honest comparison. Setup still makes sense. A retainer is optional on purpose. Request access is four steps, then a 20-minute diagnostic. No payment on that path. Questions: shaz@shazmethod.com.
How this page connects to the rest of the spec
The five functions — diagnose, architect, automate, connect, operate — are the install order. They live on method.js. The four failure modes live on the leak. Pricing is one ladder: Setup, Core, Growth. This knowledgebase is how those pieces look when you search for the GHL nouns: systems, snapshots, pipelines, calendars, workflows, CRM setup.
If you only read one companion page after this, read why GoHighLevel. If you only install one thing first, install the catch: speed-to-lead plus a calendar that writes the same contact. Everything else is a more expensive version of silence if that is missing.
FAQ
What is a GoHighLevel system in the Shaz Method?
Capture, convert, and retain on one contact ID inside your GoHighLevel account: forms, calendars, pipelines, speed-to-lead, nurture with stop rules, and monthly operate. Not a custom CRM, and not a pile of tools glued with Zaps.
Do I need my own GoHighLevel account?
Yes. You own the sub-account. We build in your house so you are not hostage to a black-box login. Platform fees stay with GHL. If we stop, the contacts and workflows stay.
Is the $250 setup the whole system?
Setup installs the snapshot, pipeline, calendars, and core speed-to-lead. Core and Growth are the monthly job of keeping it alive. If you do not want a monthly operator, do not buy a retainer. The diagnostic does not require one.
How is this different from buying a GHL snapshot in a Facebook group?
A file is not an install. A snapshot without stages named for how you close, without copy in your voice, and without anyone watching when a form field renames itself is how accounts fill with dead workflows. We tune, then we operate if you want that job done.
Who should I contact?
shaz@shazmethod.com — or request access and take the 20-minute diagnostic. No retainer starts on that call.

See where your leads are leaking, before we build anything.
A 20-minute call. I will walk through your current funnel and follow-up — and whether GoHighLevel is already in the house — and tell you honestly whether the Shaz Method is the right fit. We install in GHL. We do not sell a custom CRM.
