direct booking
Direct bookings: owning the guest contact instead of renting it
Renting the guest is a tax
OTAs and marketplaces are distribution. They are not a CRM. If the only record of a guest is a portal you log into, you will pay again to reach them next season, and you cannot run a five-minute catch when they inquire on your own site at night. Direct booking is not a brand preference. It is whether you own the contact.
The Shaz Method does not ask you to shut off OTAs on day one. It asks that every hand-raise you can own — website form, missed call, email, a WhatsApp that is actually connected — lands on one GoHighLevel contact with source and a next step. Then speed-to-lead and nurture have something to run on.
What to connect before you buy more traffic
Forms, calendar, and payments into GHL. UTM and tags that survive the hop from ad or listing page. Confirmation that writes the same person, not a second “maybe them.” Optional Meta/Google conversion wiring on Growth so you can see which source produced a booked conversation, not just a landing-page view.
High-intent travel inquiries arrive at odd hours across time zones. If the first reply waited until morning, the traveler had already booked elsewhere. That lesson came from running a curated travel marketplace, then a homestay and resort booking platform. The install is the same idea in your account: catch, then keep the thread, then report whether the pipe still fires.

A 20-minute call. I will walk through your current funnel and follow-up — and whether GoHighLevel is already in the house — and tell you honestly whether the Shaz Method is the right fit. We install in GHL. We do not sell a custom CRM.
