Homestay and resort booking: after-hours inquiries and the catch
The 9:41pm inquiry is the product
On a homestay and resort booking platform, the guest who asked about dates after dinner does not wait until your front desk opens. They open the next tab. Direct bookings, deposits, and a guest CRM are useless without speed-to-lead on the inquiry. Running that platform is why the Shaz Method looks the way it does: the catch is the product. Software without a follow-up pipe is a prettier leak.
This is not a generic hospitality agency pitch. It is the same constraint as a founder community, a travel marketplace across time zones, and a farm with no sales team. Inbound exists. Nobody can sit the inbox all day. The pipe has to run when the operator is in the field, on a site visit, or asleep.
What “caught” means for a stay
Caught means a contact in GoHighLevel with the listing or offer, the dates if you have them, the source (site form, WhatsApp, Instagram, OTA message you actually own), and a next step — a calendar, a two-question reply, or a deposit link. Not a Messenger request. Not a screenshot of a comment. Not an email sitting in a shared inbox labeled “bookings.”
After-hours, the first reply can be automated and still useful: we got this, here is availability or a calendar, a human will confirm in the morning if needed. Silence is the competitor’s closer. A same-day booking calendar that respects real availability is not “nice to have.” It is how you stop selling the same room twice and still answer at night.
OTAs, WhatsApp, and the contact you do not own
A booking that only lives inside an OTA inbox is a guest you cannot nurture, review-request, or reactivate next season without paying the tax again. The method is not “never use OTAs.” It is: when a human raises a hand on a channel you can own — site, form, missed call, email — that hand-raise becomes a GHL contact with a clock.
WhatsApp and Instagram still leak if they never become that record. Capture widgets, missed-call text-back, and forms that write into the same pipeline are how you stop running four guest lists. Setup is the snapshot. Operate is noticing when a form field renamed itself and inquiries started dying on a thank-you page.

A 20-minute call. I will walk through your current funnel and follow-up — and whether GoHighLevel is already in the house — and tell you honestly whether the Shaz Method is the right fit. We install in GHL. We do not sell a custom CRM.
